It’s definitely good to have option to eat and drink while spending hours walking in the louvre. They served wine which was great. As for food, we tried the eggplant sandwich which was decent, they don’t have much toasted options. The chocolate croissant was decent as well. So overall decent food options, food drinks and great location.

Couldn’t fault it! Went there for a mid morning break/breakfast as I’d left my accommodation early for the 9am ticket to the Louvre. Went straight to see the Mona Lisa and then walked through a few galleries and stumbled across this cafe. I bought a quiche Lorraine which was €7.80 and a chocolate pyramid bombe dessert and a Coke Zero. Total cost was €17.30 which included a €1 charge for a Louvre plastic cup which I took home. I sat outside on the balcony of the palace under a parasol in the sun looking out over the Louvre pyramid at the people milling about. It was so chilled and just lovely. Staff friendly, gorgeous setting and food was lovely, particularly the chocolate pyramid. Highly recommended

Honestly not bad for a museum café. Don’t expect any high end food, as it’s rather a snack spot to rest from art. There’s usually several sandwich options, quiche with salmon or veggie option, several deserts and baked goods. Crowded and hard to get a spot, but the view on the pyramid and the fact that you’re having a coffee break in the midst of Louvre is quite extraordinary.

After nearly 4 (total 8 i think) hours exploring the Louvre, we stumbled in here on the verge of fainting from hunger and it hit the spot. Everything tasted great (to be fair, our low blood sugar probably helped, haha). We ordered the PETIT DÉJEUNER menu and a chicken-avocado sandwich; both were solid choices. We easily found comfortable seats on the balcony and left satisfied overall. One note: the line can get long, we were lucky with a short wait, but it grew quite a bit after us.

Very very busy place with barely any seats. Staff are trying their best but not easy to order well. Good sets. Nice sandwich, pies and dessert.
